HUAWEI Director Predicts Surging Mobile Traffic in Next Decade

-
At an international forum on mobile broadband recently held in Dubai, a HUAWEI executive commented on the prospects for the next ten years. According to Wang Tao, the development of technology and popularization of the Internet of Things will cause the growth of high-speed communication networks and eventually a surge in traffic.

Mankind will continue to develop smart world technologies, for which it will need wireless protocols. In a decade, cellular networks will be literally bursting with multiple Internet of Things connections, and artificial intelligence will control urban transportation, guaranteeing crisp operation and good performance.

Stable technology will require a very fast Internet, capable of about 100 times the mobile traffic.
