The Elec: "iPhone 15 Pro will get a sub-screen selfie camera"

For a long time, the hallmark of iPhone smartphones has been the "bangs" that appeared in the iPhone X in 2017. But new times call for new solutions. According to the Korean Internet publication The Elec, the iPhone 15 Pro will get rid of the already quite "mundane" bangs in favor of a sub-screen camera.

The novelty will use similar Galaxy Z Fold displays Samsung, under which engineers will place Face ID and a front-facing camera. South Korean manufacturer, with the support of OTI Lumionics, will be able to release a new type of display using a new type of cathode pattern of organic materials. This will make it possible to use the free space between the pixels and cathodes to place FaceID sensors.
