Google will remove a loophole for iPhone with unlimited photo storage

-
The fact that the owners of the new "pixels" will not be granted the right to store an unlimited number of pictures in the Google Photos branded service in original quality became known that week. Many were surprised by something else - they received unlimited photos in HEIC format taken on iPhone smartphones.
With relatively identical quality, the size of pictures in JPEG format is approximately twice the size of pictures in HEIC format. Many felt that this explains the rather controversial decision to make unlimited for images in HEIC format. However, everything turned out to be much simpler - an unlimited amount of files of this format turned out to be a bug that Google representatives promised to cover in the very near future.
