MediaTek prepares for mass production of 4-nanometer processors

MediaTek is going to be the first company to bring to market a chip built on 4-nanometer process technology. Information about this on the social network shared by IDC Vice President Brian Ma.

It is reported that the chip will be produced in strict accordance with the specifications of the company-developer TSMC, and it will receive only the premium devices, the cost of which will start from $600.

According to a source, the first chips will roll off the assembly line at the end of this year, and the yield of smartphones with the flagship platform should be expected no later than the first quarter of next year.
