New Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 hits only #8 in top 10 mobile processors

Geekwan analyst company has published its latest ranking of the most powerful mobile processors. Some of the positions were surprising, in particular, the super-new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset managed to get only the 8th place, skipping ahead six Apple processors and Dimensity 9000 from MediaTek.

By a huge margin, first place went to the M1 processor, which is used in the iPad. The chip scored 295 points, almost a hundred points ahead of the runner-up A12Z. The A15 chip installed in the 13 Pro Max closes the top three with 197 points.

The 8 Gen 1 in the Geekwan ranking scored only 153 points, leaving behind the Dimensity 9000 with a score of almost 168 points.
Not to mention that the ranking did not take into account the fresh Samsung Exynos 2200, which is equipped with the new Galaxy S22 lineup.
