According to IDC analytical agency, 42 million smartphones were sold in India in the third quarter. Once again, the Chinese Xiaomi became the most popular brand, having sold almost 12 million devices in India. In second place in the popularity rating with the result of nine and a half million devices is located South Korean Samsung. The top three in the Indian region closed the Chinese Vivo, sales of which amounted to 4.5 million units of products.
The Indian concern Micromax increased production capacity in the third quarter and managed to sell almost 80 percent more devices, however, it has only 3 million smartphones sold and only fourth place.
Closes the top 5 popular manufacturers - the Chinese company Oppo, which managed to realize 2.8 million smartphones in India in the third quarter.
