ASUS Receives Patents for the Screen and Sliding Front Camera
- AThe Internet portal LetsGoDigital has published concept renders of future ASUS smartphones. Judging by the images, the engineers of the Taiwanese company are developing two types of design: with a hole under the front camera and with a retractable camera.
The first document shows a frameless with some kind of sliding mechanism on the upper edge of the device. Surely, it will be a retractable front camera. The conversational speaker on the concept renderer is barely visible above the screen, representing a thin strip.
The second document resembles a similar Galaxy A8s design of a smartphone with a hole for the front-end in the upper left corner of the screen.
Apparently, ASUS smartphone innovations will be presented at the end of winter or early spring.
