The tenth version of Android was officially released on September 3 last year. In less than five months since the release, the new operating system was sent to the owners of the Galaxy Note 9 and 10, as well as the Galaxy S10. In addition, the long-awaited update was sent to a couple of smartphones of the M line. Galaxy S9 was also in line for receiving Android 10 this month, but the plans of the South Korean company changed slightly. At least the release dates for updates to S9 and other models have been shifted.
According to updated information, S9 and S9 + will wait for updates only in February, at the same time as the second generation of the proprietary shell One UI.
In total, Samsung will send the latest version of Android to at least 30 models of branded smartphones. However, this process will not proceed as quickly as all owners of mobile devices would like. According to preliminary data, sending updates to all planned devices will take 7-8 months. One of the latest Android 10 will receive the Galaxy Tab 10.1 and 10.5 tablets.
