At the moment, about three dozen Huawei smartphones, including devices under the brand name HONOR, work on the shell of EMUI 10.1. In September, Android 11 will be presented, on the basis of which the Chinese manufacturer will release EMUI 11.
According to the manufacturer, the new firmware will receive more than 40 models of smartphones or about 250 million devices, which will significantly exceed the coverage of the current shell.
It is expected that owners of Mate 40 will be the first to test the new assembly. The Chinese manufacturer is likely to show the smartphone in September, and in October there will be a full release.
Presentation of EMUI 11 will be held at the developer conference on September 10. There Huawei will also present the second generation of HarmonyOS.
