Android 13 will get a built-in QR code scanner

QR code scanner, as of today, is probably on every mobile device. To call it, it is necessary either to use a specially downloaded to your smartphone application or to open the corresponding option in the camera. But all of this will soon become unnecessary, Android will have an in-house scanner.

According to Android Police, the new Android 13 will have at its disposal a QR code scanner. It will be located directly on the desktop under the quick access bar, regardless of the device model.

At the moment it is not quite clear whether the developer will expand the Google Lens scanner or will release a separate application. In any case, the scanner will be a standard option of the new version of the "green robot".
