Google plans to make YouTube a trading platform

-
Information appeared that YouTube will soon cease to be just the largest video hosting, and will become a marketplace. All the gadgets seen in the videos will be available here on YouTube in just a few clicks. If Google succeeds in realizing its plans, the company has good prospects to squeeze out such e-commerce whales as Alibaba Group and Amazon.

According to Bloomberg, YouTube has already appealed to bloggers with a request to test software for marking products presented in blogs and their further processing by the service of analytics and procurement. In addition, the video service has secured the support of Shopify, which specializes in working with online and offline stores.
Thus, in the foreseeable future, each video clip will essentially be part of a large online catalog, each position of which will be available for purchase.
