Qualcomm introduced Wi-Fi chips providing 10 Gbps connection

The Americans were able to improve the wireless WiGig technology by doubling the maximum connection speed and increasing the working distance from 10 meters to 100. Unfortunately, the standard is not perfect, it is sensitive to all sorts of obstacles due to the use of 60 GHz millimeter waves and can only be used effectively if there are no barriers between the receiver and transmitter.
