Transferring files from one smartphone to another will be much easier in the near future. After several weeks of testing, Google has announced the imminent launch of Nearby Share technology.
According to representatives of Google, already in August, the technology of wireless transmission between adjacent Android-based smartphones should work. The manufacturers of mobile devices have already been notified about it. The technology will be available for all smartphones with the sixth version of Android and above, the corresponding update will be implemented through Google Play.
Together with the implementation of this useful feature on Android devices, Google plans to expand it to other platforms in the future. Thus, the future analogue of AirDrop, which only works for iOS devices, will significantly surpass it.
